Yeay Marshall’s!!
Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at 2:19pm

Jonah is right now pooping on my thigh. Of course he is fully clothed and diapered. Man, that’s a lot, baby boy! Kayla is asleep. We had quite an eventful morning! I got a lot of stuff done – Yeay! My mother-in-law is coming tonight and I needed to get rid of & recycle the 5 months’ worth of plastic bottles in our garage.

So that’s what we did! First time ever I recycled with both kids. Kind of challenging. I kept the kids contained in our double stroller. And I still can’t believe we only got $3.39 for all that plastic! I think the guy jipped us. But he was real nice and helped me quite a bit… maybe because he saw I got two little ones tagging along :) Ok, let me change his diaper first.

Where was I? Oh, yes. Then after, I decided to go to Big 5 to get me a pair of good running shoes
on sale. The ones I have are not suitable for running anymore or for the walk/jog that I do. Anyway, the plan is, to get the shoes so I would exercise more :) Right now my form of exercise is walking with the kids in the double stroller for 45 minutes. Thanks to Kayla who demands to walk in the morning, we go almost every day now.

Anyway, afterwards I decided to visit the Marshall’s next door and do a little window-shopping. The last time I went to a Marshall’s was back in college. So I went in and ooooh how I like it! It’s my new favorite store now. I think it’s just right: a smidge above Ross, but a tad below Nordstrom Rack. I looked at their children’s shoes section and found some cute ones and the right brands! So I ended up getting Kayla a princess tennies and a StrideRite sandals, at a better price than the Mall’s! And I saw their women’s shoes section… oooooh I was drooling at the mouth :) The walkways and the aisles are larger than Ross, it’s cleaner and more organized than Ross, and in my opinion, more affordable than Nordtrom Rack. So, we got the shoes and were done! Of course I had to nurse Jonah in the shoe section for 10 minutes or so hehe…

On the way home, the little ones fell asleep. After unloading everything, which took about 20 minutes, I took a nice long shower and after that, organized our entryway, putting away the new shoes. Ok, gotta go, Kayla’s awake and gotta feed her lunch!

9:55 pm

Oh. my. gosh. Look just how much I’ve written(!) I wonder if it’s just a phase or if blogspot really got me blogging. We shall see….
